My Epic Hunt for Natlan's Sauroform Tribal Warriors
Discover effective strategies to find and defeat the fierce Sauroform Tribal Warriors in Natlan's volcanic landscapes, featuring detailed locations and tips for each faction.
When I first set foot in Natlan's volcanic landscapes, I knew tracking down those Sauroform Tribal Warriors would be one hell of a grind. These tribal bad boys aren't just your average Hilichurls—they're divided into three fierce factions: the People of the Springs, Scions of the Canopy, and Children of the Echoes, each rolling with their own Saurian sidekicks. With over 200 scattered across the map, I strapped on my exploration boots and went full Bear Grylls mode. Here's the lowdown on how I bagged 'em all.
🔥 Children of the Echoes: The Edge Dwellers
This tribe's warriors love hanging out where the map literally ends. I started at the initial Natlan teleport waypoint, scaled the cliffs to the right—man, that hike felt like forever—until I spotted a camp at the summit. Pro tip: glide down to the opposite edge afterward, and you'll catch one lurking in the bushes like a creeper.

Then I hit the Statue of Seven to farm lower-level warriors. Head toward the blue arrow on your map, but don't forget your Tepetlisaurus for cliff scaling! One sneaky guy hides near bushes behind the statue—easy to miss if you're not paying attention.
🏜️ Tepeacac Rise: Small but Mighty
Piece of cake! Teleport to the top waypoint, and bam—a whole camp greets you. Then just cruise south toward the cliff's edge for stragglers. This area's a quick W for your warrior tally.

💀 Ancestral Temple: Warrior Central
This place is crawling with them—like ants at a picnic. Spin around after teleporting, and you'll see packs patrolling the clearing. After clearing them, hit the waypoint below and yeet yourself off the ledge toward a giant carcass. Inside? A whole dang camp chilling in skeleton ribs. Metal.

🌋 Sulfurous Veins: Above and Below
-
Above ground: Teleport to the northern waypoint, glide down, and snag warriors wandering the canyon. Then zip to the central waypoint and glide to the rock formation ahead.
-
Underground: Use the waypoint right of the map (unlocked via Beneath the Crystal Rock quest). You'll find warriors near crystal rocks with Tepetlisaurus. Cross the bridge afterward for another camp behind rock formations.
🦖 Huitztli Hill: Cliffhanger Chaos
Teleport west of the Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant boss, turn left, and leap off the cliff—there's a camp waiting below. Next, head to the lower waypoint for instant spawns. Then, borrow a Yumkasaur to climb the canyon cliffs (game changer!), and glide down afterward for stragglers near rocks.

🌴 Scions of the Canopy: One and Done
Only one camp here—teleport north of the Statue of Seven, turn around, and it's at the mountain's base. Short and sweet!
🌊 Ameyalco Waters & Firethief’s Secret Isle
-
Teleport to the eastern waypoint, look down—warriors by rocks.
-
Statue of Seven → bush patrol for a roamer.
-
Beach warrior → then teleport to the island across for more behind you.
-
Swim to find warriors waist-deep in water.
-
Use the northern waypoint (marked "4" on maps) and follow springs. A Koholasaurus helps navigate!
-
Sprint across water to Firethief’s Isle’s back island for the final group.
🌈 Toyac Springs: The Grand Finale
Tag this onto your Ameyalco run. Teleport to the Sanctum of Rainbow Spirits domain and check every path—warriors flank both sides. Then hit the waypoint north of the domain, pass the waterfall left, and stick left to find them on a wooden platform in a canyon.
Pro Tips from My Grind:
| Tribe | Key Strategy | Difficulty |
|---|---|---|
| Children of the Echoes | Use Tepetlisaurus for cliffs | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
| Tepeacac Rise | Quick southward sweep | ⭐⭐ |
| Sulfurous Veins | Split above/below ground | ⭐⭐⭐ |
| Huitztli Hill | Yumkasaur = essential | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
Tracking all 200+ warriors took me three nights, but holy moly, the achievement primos were worth every second. These tribes ain’t playing around—their Saurians hit like trucks, so bring a shield character unless you wanna get steamrolled. Happy hunting, fellow Travelers! 🎮
